How Does Scalp Micro Pigmentation Work?

Scalp micro-pigmentation, or SMP,  uses a technique called “Hair Follicle Simulation”. The experts at Pyure Natural Wellness, use the Trico-pigmentation method to create a 3-D hair  replication.  This technique blends a variety of artistic effects, and several tones of color. The artistry is carefully applied over two to three applications.  The micro-insertions of pigment mimic the follicles, and the layered tones of color shade the skin and simulate new hair growth.  SMP covers the white, pink or shiny spots in the scalp, but will not totally shade the skin. (Think of a man’s beard with a five o’clock shadow).  The natural effect of hair density, is created by allowing the skin to show though the follicle simulation, creating the illusion of depth and movement.

What does Scalp Micropigmentation Offer Me?

When a man or a woman begins to lose their hair, it can affect not only how they see themselves, but how they feel about themselves as well. Their confidence and self-esteem can be lost and they may not feel as attractive as they once did. Though there are many types of hair loss treatments available, not all of them work, leaving men and women suffering with hair loss and very few options. That’s why scalp micropigmentation is the best course of action for those in this position, because of the numerous benefits this procedure can offer to those suffering from hair loss.

What does it involve?

Scalp pigmentation doesn’t penetrate the skin as deeply as normal tattooing, and the color can be matched to your previous hair color and skin tone. Unlike tattoo ink, it also retains its color, so you’re not going to start off with black dots and end up a redhead ten years later.

The practitioner will agree a suitable hairline with you, based on your previous hairline and face shape. Then, they will add hundreds of tiny dots over your scalp. A sitting typically lasts around three hours, and if the whole head is being treated a few may be required. The treatment is permanent, but it can be adjusted (and in some cases reversed). And don’t worry about going grey – if the rest of your hair does, the treatment can be touched up to match.

Does it hurt?

It hurts less than having a regular tattoo, and certainly a lot less than a hair transplant. Anesthetics are available to numb the scalp, which significantly reduces the likelihood of you experiencing pain.

How much does is cost?

Prices vary depending on the treatment type, as well as how many treatments are needed to get your desired results. Because scalp micropigmentation is a permanent solution to hair loss, there is no need to wasted hard-earned money on ineffective tonics or shampoos. It is also only a fraction of the cost when compared to hair transplants. There isn’t even any need for post-procedural medications or care products, which means more money kept in the pocket, where it belongs. We also offer lost-cost financing to fit every budget!

Where To Get It Done?

Using scalp micropigmentation techniques to camouflage skin tone imperfections is an advanced skill acquired only through professional training, guidance and significant experience. Specialty procedures necessitate that the Specialist to develop an especially keen aptitude for color, anticipate how colors heal in the skin, what the resulting color will be, and how the color will fade over time. Pyure Natural Wellness, has helped hundreds of men and women from around the world to leave their hair loss problems behind for good. Even those who have undergone hair restoration surgery, have worn hair systems or have scars or skin conditions can benefit from Scalp MicroPigmentation.

No False Claims

There are dozens of products on the market that claim they will re-grow hair, but most of them have no effect at all. They are purchased and used because some people will believe anything in the hopes of a cure for their baldness. Micropigmentation is different, because it is not for hair growth, nor does it claim to be.

Risk

The treatment does not use any chemicals, which means no side effects. It also doesn’t require any incisions, so there is little risk of infection. There is also no need to fear the needle that is used to add the pigmentation to the skin, because a local anesthetic is used, keeping it pain-free. The procedure does not require surgery, nor is there any down-time.

Does it matter what color my hair is?

We are the absolute professionals at matching colors. Our practioner’s are skilled with years of experience. We have pigment to match any hair follicle. We use specialized pigment blends, which allows us to match any hair color.

Sterilization

We never reuse our needles. Every needle we use is disposable, which means every client receives a new needle for their procedure.

Will anyone be able to tell I have had this procedure done?

The look we provide is unbelievably authentic and realistic. Unless you told them, they would have no clue. Not one client we have treated has been noticed. It actually makes someone who is balding look younger and better.

Explain what happens when the pigmentation needle machine inserts the scalp?

Our follicle shaped needle implants into the epidermis, never reaching the dermis. The skin is made up of a matrix of cross fibers that have Lumen within the cells. The Lumens allow the ink to deposit into the dermis and stay consistent in size and shape.

How long does the scalp take to fully heal after the procedure?

We provide post care protocols that should be followed for the first week. We also recommend that you use a sunscreen with SPF 30 to 50, or greater.
